STOPLIGHT is a complete, inexpensive high resistance grounding system that provides system wide protection against damaging ground faults. Using a simple but effective three light system, Stoplight provides visual indication and available remote annunciation to inform operations and maintenance personnel of ground faults.
A red light indicates an active ground fault, an amber light indicates a ground fault has occurred but is intermittent and a green light signifies that there are no active ground faults on the system.

Sleuth is a neutral grounding device that limits ground fault currents to non-damaging levels under a single line-to-ground fault condition. Sleuth is the ideal tool for sensing and locating ground faults quickly and easily. When a ground fault occurs, Sleuth controls and limits the fault current, provides an alarm that indicates an active fault, enabling electrical personnel to follow a simple sequence to locate and isolate the fault without interrupting the circuit or opening circuit breakers.

Fusion is a selective coordinated high-resistance grounded system with high first fault current. Fusion converts from solid grounding to high-resistance grounding giving an immediate reduction in fault current. This allows the fault to remain on the system without causing further damage and without unplanned process interruptions. For faults in minor equipment or smaller feeders it allows the overcurrent device to trip the circuit and clear the fault and maintains solid grounding.

GEMINI is a unique patented, fail safe, all-in-one neutral grounding system that combines ground fault protection with a redundant resistor system, in addition to a built-in resistor integrity monitoring relay.
Providing protection against any compromising of the resistor integrity, the patented twin resistance paths in combination with the integrity monitoring relay form the heart of the Gemini system. Limiting any ground fault to predetermined and safe levels, the parallel resistance circuit protects against the damaging effect of a ground fault. Should the integrity of either resistor path be compromised, the second path continues to provide the necessary protection while an alarm is activated.

The SENTINEL HRG system is the most advanced HRG system in the market and is designed to detect the event of a single ground fault, signal an alarm, and point to the affected branch or feeder. Thus maintenance can be immediately alerted to the problem and an operator dispatched to locate the fault to isolate it promptly.
By isolating the search for the fault to the branch or feeder level, we remove the maintenance personnel from the dangers associated with the higher fault currents of the main switchgear.
The SENTINEL HRG system which incorporated the DSP Protective Relay can assist in locating the fault with a pulsing fault location circuit. In the event of a second ground fault, the DSP Protective relay acts quickly to prevent loss of two feeders by selectively tripping the lower priority feeder only.

This unique product is the only portable HRG system that allows users to temporarily convert an ungrounded electrical system to a safer High Resistance Grounding System to facilitate the location and repair of a ground fault. This product is particularly suited to service companies who can provide fault location service to their clients.
When the desire to convert to a safer high resistance grounded system is delayed due to capital and time, a unique solution from I-Gard is the Turbo Sleuth, a portable high resistance grounding system that temporarily and easily connects to an existing electrical system and converts the faulted system to high resistance grounded.
The Turbo Sleuth contains the fault-limiting resistor, the pulsing circuitry and if required an artificial neutral in a single wheeled enclosure. It uses an integral pulsing circuit to facilitate fault finding while ensuring process continuity. Once the fault is located and cleared, the Turbo Sleuth is disconnected and the system returned to its original setting.
The I-Gard artificial-neutrals are used on three phase, delta connected electrical systems to create a neutral point, which when used with a neutral grounding resistor result in a resistance grounded electrical system equivalent to a resistance grounded wye connected electrical system. The Artificial Neutrals can also be used on a wye connected electrical system in cases where the star-point of the transformer is inaccessible to form a resistance grounded system.
I-Gard artificial-neutrals are made of a specially wound, zigzag type or wye – broken delta type transformers which provide a low impedance star-point, and maintain an equal voltage to each phase from the star-point or neutral point. Medium voltage artificial-neutrals are regularly enclosed with the neutral grounding resistor, current sensors and the resistor monitoring accessories that feed a differential protection.
Artificial Neutral Ratings
The continuous current ratings of the I-Gard artificial-neutrals go from 1 A to 35 A for any line-to-line system of 380V to 35000V. Enclosures are available in any IP or Nema class 1 to 4.
